The final commandment is to do with the mind. It forbids lusting after another man's possessions, money or lifestyle. Coveting is seeing something with your eyes and desiring to have it, though it doesn't belong to you. It is a worldly sin. Advertising uses this nature of coveting to sell their products. They convince you that you need it and that you want it. You didn't even know that you needed or wanted their product until they explain to you that your life will be better when you buy and use their products.
