"I am YaHuWaH your Elohim (Almighty / Mighty One / God), who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You have no other mighty ones (gods) before me."
Let's break the first commandment down:
Isaiah Chapter 45 Verses 5-7 confirms this:
"I am YaHuWaH, and there is none else—there are no mighty ones besides Me. I gird you, though you have not known Me, so that they know from the rising of the sun and from the west that there is none but Me. I am YaHuWaH, and there is none else. Forming light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil, I, YaHuWaH, do all these things."
YaHuWaH also does this for us today. He frees us from the bondage of sin, curses, and death through His son Yahushua.
We are instructed by YaHuWaH to avoid having any other mighty ones before His face. As in the time of Moses, a large number of gods are worshipped today. As stated by YaHuWaH, there is only one Elohim, also known as the Almighty, Mighty One or God. The others are all false gods.
This implies that we shouldn't mention any false gods by name or engage in any pagan practices associated with them. False names or titles for pagan deities include Lord, God, Jesus, Ba'al, Ishtar (Easter), Christ, Allah, Krishna, and so on. Easter, Christmas, Halloween etc...are pagan customs(click here to find out more.)
So, the first stipulation in this 'Covenant Agreement' is to acknowledge that YaHuWaH is the Almighty and that there is no other. The second is not to have anything to do with any pagan/false deities or their practices.
